Melanie DeMore
Singer-songwriter Melanie DeMore has a remarkable voice, weaving the fibers of African American folk music with soulful ballads, spirituals, and her own original music. DeMore also facilitates vocal workshops for professional and community-based choral groups and has taught her program called “Sound Awareness” in schools, prisons, and youth organizations.
Barbara Gail
Barbara Gail is founder of "Women, Rhythm & Ritual: The Tambourine Path”. These frame drum workshops are steeped in the feminine lineage of her teacher, the late Layne Redmond, author of "When the Drummers Were Women: a Spiritual History of Rhythm”. A dynamic alchemist in the teaching arts of rhythm, sound, and movement, Barbara's been a group facilitator of hand-drumming and dance for people of all ages, abilities and challenges, since 1993. She’s performed and presented her transformational programs in over 400 venues and in over a dozen states. Tambourines will be provided!

Singing in Sacred Circle facilitator, Singer-Song/Chant writer, Performer
Shelley’s folksy, personable approach to performing and facilitating Singing In Sacred Circle workshops, draw her audiences down a path of political inquiry, peace, healing, and transformation. Whether she is sharing her music at political events, women’s conferences, coffeehouses, or music festivals, Shelley charms her way into her listeners’ hearts! Carolyn McDade (Spirit of Life) said: “We are fortunate to have Shelley Graff among us. She is generous of heart and skill -- infused with love for the promise that comes when women sing together.”
